'Peer support' (wederzijdse ondersteuning) is een systeem van hulp geven en ontvangen op basis van de belangrijkste principes: respect, gedeelde verantwoordelijkheid en overeenstemming over wat kan bijdragen tot herstel. Peer support is niet gebaseerd op psychiatrische modellen en diagnostische criteria. Het gaat om het empatisch begrip hebben voor de situatie van iemand anders door het delen van ervaring met emotionele en psychologische pijn... waar mensen met elkaar kunnen zijn zonder de beperkingen van traditionele (deskundige / patiënt) relaties.'

'Psychodrama maakt onder begeleiding gebruik van dramatische handelingen om problemen of kwesties die door iemand worden aangedragen te onderzoeken. Met gebruik van ervaringsgebaseerde methodes, sociometrie, rollenspel, en groepsdynamiek, bevordert psychodrama inzicht, persoonlijke groei en integratie op cognitief, affectief en gedragsniveau. Psychodrama verklaart bepaalde problemen, verhoogt het fysieke en emotionele welzijn, verbetert het leerproces en ontwikkelt nieuwe vaardigheden.
